💚 A day of action outside the annual British Insurance Broker’s Association conference, calling on the delegates NOT to insure fossil fuel projects

💙 A peaceful demonstration to enable participation of a wide range of people.

💜 Focus against the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) and the West Cumbrian Coal Mine

💛 Testimonies from women in the Global South already experiencing the impacts of the climate crisis

🧡 A creative programme of protest & performances throughout the day 🤍 An exhibition of photographs & interviews of people from Global South directly impacted by EACOP many of whom have already been displaced from their homes, 2pm-6pm at the Friends Meeting House

❤ A 6.30pm fringe event with talks on EACOP & the Climate Crisis to amplify the voices of people affected in Uganda, Tanzania & East/South Africa

The action is being led by Greater Manchester Stop EACOP coalition, in collaboration with other groups, including the campaign to Stop the West Cumbria Coal Mine and Extinction Rebellion.
